SGA Executive Board
The SGA E-Board is elected at the end of the Spring Semester each year. These individuals head up the University of Hartford's Student Government Association and are responsible for various aspects of life here at the university.
SGA President
Grant Engrav
Hello my name is Grant Engrav and I am this year’s Student Government President. I am hoping to make this year and the continuing years at our University great. Within SGA I am hoping to help our campus become more environmentally friendly, promote and inspire University traditions, and address major student concerns regarding dinning. Outside the office I enjoy playing soccer, skateboarding, and watching movies. If you see me around feel free to stop me and let me know how SGA can help you.
Executive Vice President
Darren Deoraj
My name is Darren Deoraj, I am this years Executive Vice President of the Student Government Association. I am a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Biology Pre-Medicine and minoring in Politics and Government. I am from Queens New York; I've played tennis all my life and I am an avid Mets fan. I am apart of many organizations on campus some of which are The Informer, SGA, The Pre-Professional Medical Club and I am a brother of the fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

Peninnah Bonhomme
My name is Peninnah L. Bonhomme. I am the Finance VP for the 2009-2010 academic year. I am pursuing a double degree in Politics and Government and Rhetoric and Professional Writing. I will graduate in 2011, and I hope to pursue a joint degree in law and political science.

Hi, my name is Kayla Noel Cloutier and I am currently the Executive Assistant to the President. I am currently a Biomedical Engineering major with a minor in Business Management. I am also involved across campus in a variety of activities including Phi Mu Fraternity, Residential Life, and intramural sports.

I am a senior from Westchester, New York and is majoring in Communication with an emphasis in Mass Media and minoring in History. In addition to serving as PRVP, I am also on the board of the Public Relations Student Society of America, and before being elected to SGA, I was the News Director at the Student Television Network on campus.

Ben Accardo
My name is Ben Accardo and I'm from Derry, New Hampshire. I am currently a sophomore studying Biomedical Engineering. In my free time, I enjoy having fun with my friends and meeting new people. Going to the gym, as well as participating in intramurals, are also my hobbies.

Matt Wyman
My name is Matt Wyman and I am currently the Academic Vice-President. I am an Economics and Finance major in the Barney School of Business. I hope to extended Library hours this year as well as broaden the Tutor Zone program. I am also a brother in the fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon. I train in Brazilian juijitsu and also closely follow the Patriots, Redsox and Celtics.
